We're Optical 4 a Better Cause. We collect prescription glasses, reading glasses and sunglasses from our community. We donate them to benefit people all around the world.

Started by a pair of brothers Archer and Hunter based in Manhattan, Optical 4 a Better Cause has collected and donated 4,483 pairs of new and used eyewear since 2020! Optical 4 a Better Cause was started during the summer of 2020 because Archer and Hunter realized that they went through a pair of glasses each year. While thinking of a way to make glasses wearing more sustainable, they came up with the idea of not only donating them for underprivileged communities, but also to collect donations and start a system. This system grew, and a slow trickle of glasses turned to dozens. The number grew and grew, and Archer and Hunter then decided to take Optical 4 a Better Cause to the next level.

Sight is a right. We believe everyone should have access to glasses, one pair at a time. We are collecting used glasses to redistribute to people who need them
